NSI

The National Security Inspectorate (formally NACOSS)

The NSI was started 1971 as the NSCIA (National Supervisory Council for Intruder Alarms) this was set up to help make sure consumers had a quality installation.

The NSI checks the quality and competence of its members on a regular basis. They state their members may not offer the cheapest quote but they will guarantee the best service. The NSI has two standards which are as follows

NSI standard - each member must meet all relevant British and European technical performance standards, screen all staff, are fully insured, have regular staff training and are inspected every 6 months.

NSI Gold standard - as well as the above members must also meet specific industry standards and have a good track record of reliability, performance and stability.

You can contact NSI on 0845 006 3003 or email them at nsi@nsi.org.uk

For all aspects of security, alarms and intruder lighting we have local companies listed under exterior trades.
