Members have to work to a strict code of practice and renew their membership every year. The BMF sets high standards for members and will investigate and help consumers with disputes. They are the only organisation that represents all the merchant industries in the UK including suppliers and contractors.
Members can get help on legal, technical and bureaucratic issues that may affect their business through the BMF. They also provide training to members to enhance their quality of service to customers.
