If you are looking to make energy saving improvements to your home there could be help available towards the costs. Your local authority, energy providers and the government may all be able to provide grants to help you improve your home and save on energy costs.
Energy suppliers are obligated by the government to provide reduced rates and offers on installing energy efficient systems into their homes. These offers are available from all suppliers and not just your own provider.
There is also a Warm Front scheme which operates in the North West for those over 60 or on benefits. Further details can be obtained from your local council.
