A survey conducted on the DIY habits of 1,500 property owners has revealed that most jobs are carried out under pressure from family members. These tasks are carried out under duress even though they should be handled by skilled tradesmen. The survey found that around 25% had carried out electrical work and a further 25% had attempted to install a new kitchen.
