Merseyside Home Improvements - The Cost of Colour
Choosing a poor or bad colour scheme for your home can de-value your home by as much as £1,400 according to recent research. It stated that a third of estate agents that where asked said an un-favourable colour scheme is a turn off to prospective buyers. They went on to say that the best colour scheme to opt for is magnolia but only around a third of homes choose this colour. Magnolia gives a room a feeling of being clean, bright and airy and you can opt for a little colour in the soft furnishings.
The worst colours to choose came out as red and orange. If you are unsure of what colours to choose most larger DIY stores have paint guide cards showing the different shades. They can also mix a shade to your choice and sell small sample pots so you can try the colour at home.
