Merseyside Home Improvements - Patio Heaters
B & Q have recently announced that they are to ban garden patio heaters from their stores and it will not be re-stocking them. Other stores such as Wyevale and Notcutts already made this move last year. Their decision was based on environment issues and they have teamed up with One Planet Living initiative to help cut carbon emissions.
The energy saving trust state that one hour’s use of a patio heater uses the same energy as making 400 cups of tea. Around a quarter of all the UK’s emissions come from the home environment and we should all do our bit to help out.
